Delete Account
We're sorry to see you go. Here's everything you need to know about deleting your Instant Doctor account.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your personal data, health records, consultation history, prescriptions, and payment information from our systems.
What will be deleted
Note on medical records: Certain health records may be retained for up to 7 years following account deletion in compliance with Nigerian medical record-keeping regulations. These records are securely archived and inaccessible during this period.
How to delete your account
Open the Instant Doctor App
Launch the app on your iOS or Android device and ensure you are logged in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Profile Settings
Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar, then select "Settings" or "Account Settings" from the menu.
Select "Delete Account"
Scroll to the bottom of the account settings page and tap "Delete Account". You will be asked to confirm your identity.
Confirm Deletion
Enter your account password or confirm via biometric authentication to authorize the deletion request.
Account Deleted
Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request, in compliance with applicable laws.
