Please read these terms carefully before using the Instant Doctor platform and services.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Instant Doctor mobile application and website. By using our services, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Instant Doctor application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

These terms apply to all users, including patients, visitors, and any other individuals who access the platform.

2. Description of Service

Instant Doctor is a telehealth platform that connects patients with licensed medical professionals for:

•Video and audio consultations

•Digital prescription issuance

•Lab result review and interpretation

•Medication tracking and reminders

•Health tips and wellness content

•Pharmacy referrals

Instant Doctor does not provide emergency medical services. In case of a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. Medical Disclaimer

The content and services provided through Instant Doctor are for informational and consultative purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional in-person medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

•Always seek the advice of your physician for any medical condition.

•Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you have read or seen on our platform.

•If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.

Doctors on the Instant Doctor platform are independent licensed practitioners, not employees of Instant Doctor.

4. User Accounts

To use Instant Doctor, you must:

•Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent.

•Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.

•Maintain the security of your account credentials.

•Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Payments and Refunds

•Consultation fees are displayed clearly before you confirm a booking.

•Payment is processed securely through our authorized payment providers.

•Refunds may be issued for cancelled appointments made more than 30 minutes before the scheduled time.

•Completed consultations are generally non-refundable unless there was a documented service failure on our part.

•Subscription plans (if applicable) renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

•Use the platform for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.

•Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity.

•Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content that could harm our systems.

•Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.

•Harass, abuse, or harm any doctor, patient, or staff member.

•Share your account credentials with any third party.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Instant Doctor platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Instant Doctor and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Instant Doctor shall not be liable for:

•Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

•Any medical outcome resulting from a consultation conducted through the platform.

•Any unauthorized access to your data resulting from your failure to secure your account.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.
