Prescriptions
Fill prescriptions from our doctors.
When one of our doctors prescribes, the patient can send the prescription to your pharmacy. Prescribed items arrive linked to the prescription, so you can check the medicine, dose and quantity before you dispense.
- Each prescription has its own code you can verify

Who can partner with Instant Doctor?
Licensed community pharmacies in the areas we serve. We ask for your PCN premises licence number and check every application before a pharmacy goes live, so patients only order from registered premises.
How do orders reach my pharmacy?
Patients choose your store in the Instant Doctor app, or fill an e-prescription from one of our doctors at your pharmacy. Each order appears in your portal with the items, the delivery address and, for prescribed items, the prescription to check against.
Who handles delivery?
You do, at the fee per kilometre you set. Patients see the delivery fee and your typical delivery time before they pay. You can pause orders at any time, and your opening hours decide when patients can order.
How and when do I get paid?
Patients pay in the app. When an order is completed, your share is added to your portal balance and paid out to the bank account you verify in the portal. Every credit and payout is listed in your statement.
What about patients with HMO cover?
Some HMOs cover prescribed medicines for their members. You are paid in full as usual for those orders, and the HMO is billed by Instant Doctor, so you never chase an HMO for payment.
Can my staff use the portal?
Yes. The owner account can invite staff as managers, pharmacists, inventory officers or sales assistants. Each role only sees the parts of the portal it needs, and you can deactivate an account at any time.
How long does approval take?
We review applications as they come in and email you as soon as a decision is made. If we approve your pharmacy, the same email has your portal login.
